Economic impact
Transition diseases reduce production for the whole lactation, worsen fertility and increase culling. Record cases in the first 30 days of lactation.

- Plan dry cow feeding with an adviser
- Monitor condition and intake before calving
- Agree a hypocalcaemia prevention plan with your vet
- Limit regrouping before calving
