Farm examples

Farm example · Holm & Laue
Starbach-Sachsen: from 850 g to over 1,000 g daily gain
Starbach-Sachsen eG in Bodenbach near Nossen introduced the CalfExpert feeder together with hygiene stations. According to the farm, daily gain rose from 850 g to 950 g right after the change and later exceeded 1,000 g.
Example from Holm & Laue material. Results depend on the whole rearing programme and are not guaranteed.

Farm example · ColoQuick
Lyndell Dairy: one colostrum routine for the whole team
This Wisconsin farm standardised colostrum testing, recording, freezing and warming with ColoQuick. The farmers describe more consistent work and fewer calf health problems.
Account from ColoQuick material, without published figures.

Farm example · Cowhouse
GAEC de la Croisière: cubicle comfort is more than a mattress
The farm replaced old, low dividers and slippery mats with Wisconsin dividers and Dutch Mountain mattresses. Time-lapse footage from 2019 and 2022 showed cows lying down and rising more easily.
Account from Cowhouse material, without measured figures. Dividers and mattresses were changed at the same time.
